I Have Returned!

It's fair to say that there has been a small hiatus in my posts to you. Well, some may say you can have too much of a good thing, although whether that is my silence or my return is for you to decide!

Some weeks ago, I opened my website to find that most of it had disappeared. This prompted a panic call to my son-in-law, Mezz, who had done a brilliant job of setting the thing up in the first place. He talked about things like servers, and hosts, and strings, and backups, and I nodded politely. Suffice to say that he worked his magic, and I'm back up and running.

Not only am I back up and running, but now this is a 2-way street. I'm delighted that you can respond to me, either by replying to my email directly, or by adding a comment on the website. This is an exciting development for me, as I really hope to hear from you.

As always, I won't be inundating your Inbox with posts, but I do hope to be in touch more regularly. I have plenty of ideas for posts that I think will interest you, but if you have any thoughts, please let me know. Don't forget, you can also contact me via Facebook or Instagram.

We talked about Florence, historical fiction (no surprise there), but also what it means to begin a new creative life later in our professional life, imposter syndrome, and the stories that keep calling us.
